Marked is the first of the Adult fantasy vampire book series House of Night. Thanks to Chan who joined me on this episode I had lots of fun reading this believe it or not.
Marked is a special book. It’s really bad and boring and at the same time hilarious and quite something to experience. A teenage daughter advising her mom about high-school life and the mom taking it seriously and writing this novel based on that really shows. The boys being complete objects is ridiculous and the dialogue is just something else… read it with friends out loud and try to give each character a unique voice. That is definitely the way to read this.
